Fliss - Honest Folk - is an awesome brand coach based in Leeds, who travelled all the way to Bristol for her super fun brand photoshoot.

I have worked with Fliss on my business through her 1 to 1 coaching, as well as attending some of her group workshops.
I was absolutely delighted when she booked a brand shoot with me. Fliss is based up North and was up for travelling all the way to Bristol for the shoot.
Fliss’s brand is super playful and colourful, and she has a lot of bespoke shapes within her branding. I thought it would be really cool to bring these shapes to life, play with scale, and add some extra movement to the shoot by creating a range of stop motion gifs.
I laser cut Fliss’s brand shapes, mixed paint that matched her brand, and painted a range of backdrops in her brand colours.
The shoot was so much fun! Fliss didn’t pose, she just played and felt right at home with me in the studio.
We shot a mix of different coloured backdrops, so the images would suit different areas of her website.
Fliss brought a range of outfits with her, that complimented her style and her brand colours…it really was a dream shoot!
Working with Faye was an absolute dream.
She takes time to understand what you’re looking for from your shoot and produces a moodboard - which as a visual person is great because we could talk about what I liked and it helped me figure out what was right for me.
The shoot was super fun - Faye really puts you at ease and it felt like we were playing around in a really good way.
The images and stop motion we captured on the day are brilliant.
I love using my brand photography because it really is perfectly me, and I get so many compliments on it as well.

I’m Faye, a Bristol-based photographer with a passion for working with independent businesses, designers and makers.
I have over 15 years experience creating product and interior photography.
I launched my Behind the Brand shoots in 2023, because I loved working closely with my small business clients, learning about their processes, and seeing where they worked.
Being invited behind the scenes of their brands, felt like something that would appeal to their customers too, so it was a great addition to my services.
